My passion for real estate began as a student at Texas A&M University. Soon after graduation I began my real estate investment career purchasing several income properties. My first purchase was a duplex. My first tenant paid 87% of my PITI (principal, interest, taxes & insurance). I soon picked up a roommate who paid the other 13%! After that, I knew I was onto something. Within a few months I purchased my second duplex. In 2003 I became a real estate agent focused on helping others build wealth and income with real estate. Within several months I was managing 3 small apartment complexes in addition to multiple duplexes throughout Columbus, OH. The apartment complexes each had 12, 15 and 25 units and were located next to Ohio State University. I relocated to Dallas-Fort Worth in late 2004 to be closer to family. In 2008 I became a Texas real estate broker and opened McCaw Properties. McCaw Properties was formed to solve real estate challenges by working outside of the traditional Realtor box. When a McCaw Properties agent looks at a property, he or she is not limited to only traditional transactions. We have found that in today’s economic environment we need to be aware of all the ways to help solve real estate problems. I have managed rehab projects consistently from started to finish for the last fifteen years. My ability to analyzed investment potential and manage construction on properties places me in the ranks of very few real estate professionals. We are the only brokerage that I am aware of that can provide the property; understand the investor financing options; the general contracting, and the property management. No other firm can work end to end on a project like McCaw Properties.

Outside of traditional property management, Kyle is the President of Village by the Creek HOA in East Dallas. He has been instrumental in improving the property values of this 198 townhome community.

Kyle is also volunteers for Pack 175 Cub Scouts and numerous little league sports.

As a proud Texas A&M graduate, he feels that is very important to give back to his alma mater. He regularly volunteers for the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship as a guest judge for the MBA Venture Challenge, 3 Day Startup competition and the Raymond Ideas Challenge.

Kyle also is on the board of the Northeast Tarrant County A&M Club. www.netcaggies.com In this organization his most proud accomplishment is creating the annual Howdy Trip for area high school juniors. The primary goal of the trip is to introduce the Aggie Spirit to high school students that may not otherwise have the opportunity to visit Texas A&M. The NETC A&M Club provides chaperones, transportation and meals for the day trip. Students attend a campus tour, meet with admissions, eat in a dining hall, meet Yell Leader, Reveille (Aggie mascot) and more. The trip is free of cost to the selected students.

Rodney Ferrell » Real Estate Agent/Co-Owner

Rodney Ferrell is simply passionate for real estate and property management. He was born and raised in Big Spring, Texas and has a long history of owning and managing property and offering exceptional customer service. His father was a real estate investor and Rodney began working for him in 1973. He built a subdivision in rural Howard County which consisted of 20 homes. Rodney started as a carpenter and was involved in all aspects of the building process from the ground up. Rodney first began owning and managing property in 1975, and by 1977, he had 30 single family dwellings and 1 small apartment complex. Since then, he has owned and managed his own single and multi-family properties. In 2008 Rodney joined McCaw Properties as property manager. What drew him to McCaw Properties was the fact that they were focused on the investor. There is no other real estate broker in the Dallas Fort Worth area that he is aware of that has that type of commitment for the investor. It has proven to be a good fit for him due to his background in management, real estate investing, construction, and property management. He works hands-on with the investors depending on their level of experience. For many of the investors, he finds the property and oversee the rehab, and then sell or lease it for them.

In 2017 converted McCaw Property Management LLC (MPM) to PMI McCaw Properties.

Rodney and Kyle are extremely conscious of cost control and work hard to make sure the business and properties are run cost-effectively. We make sure these savings are passed on to the owners. Because if our clients are successful PMI McCaw Properties will be laso. Through his many years in property management, he has learned how to have a high renter retention. Although Kyle has managed properties for investors since 2003. It was not a focus of McCaw Properties until 2011. Since that time, each year PMI McCaw Properties has grown significantly its doors under management. Today we manage over 500 doors including a single family and small multifamily properties. Additionally, PMI McCaw Properties manages several home owner associations in both Dallas and Tarrant counties.
